Sun JavaFX is an open-source framework for viewing animations, video and rich internet applications (RIA).

JavaFX is fully integrated within the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.6 (1.5 on Mac)

• Utilises the Java scripting language.
• Supports FXM and On2’s TrueMotion® (including: MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.263, H.264, VC-1) video codecs
• Supports MP3 audio codec
• The Available as a cross-platform, web browser based plug-in. Supporting Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Apple Safari and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
